My grandma is 95. She keeps begging me to visit her, give her a hug, before it's too late. The isolation of the pandemic is wrecking her mental health, and my aunt is incredibly stressed caring for her alone. I want to fly out to see her and help with her care, but the risk is too great if I'm unvaccinated. I won't be responsible for killing my Grandma.

I spend all day at work handing food to maskless customers. And standing in overcrowded restaurants, shoulder to shoulder with folks, waiting for my number to be called. So many customers tell me, "I'm ordering food because I'm sick; it might be COVID."
