Application: to adjust the Legislative process.

My dream/Goal? would be to have a 3 tier process to the code.

1: Inital application -carries no enforcement, waiting on votes and discussion.

2: Rule: Applications that have been voted on, but have not yet passed the 1 year mark. Rules carry enforcement, but are allowed to be voted at any point should the need arise. If a downvote is counted, all citizens affected will be returned to normal status.

3: Law: Rules that have been in place for one year and have not been voted down in that time. These carry full weight of enforcement, Laws are cannon for at least 5 years. before a revote will be allowed on them should the populaces dictate. If no revote is called for, then it is in effect for another 5 years.

Amended by /u/Brru :

Proposed alteration to Code 3: Lower the yearly revote from 5 years to a formulaic progression over time such that the more revotes a Law has passed the longer between revotes required.

Example formula 2n years where n= revotes Law has passed (including initial vote from rule to law). Progression for this formula would be 1 Year as Rule, 2 years after conversion to Law, 4 years after first revote passes, 8 years after revote, 16, 32, etc.

(adjustment of years to months for Internet time)

Amended As Suggested by /u/MaxMazz :

Clause to allow for emergency vote : Suggest for a super-majority vote to allow for change. 75%/25% VS normal vote 49%/51%
