What simple thing(s) help you as a student that most wouldn't think about doing?

  1. Actually plan out your classes to be in the same/a similar place. It really sucks to have 15 min to make it down 3 flights of stairs, across campus, and up 4 flights of stairs in 15 min. Especially if u have mandatory attendance :/

  2. Buy a used iClicker

  3. Download ur textbooks online, don't pay all that money for them

  4. Agendas & Planners > Cellphones

  5. Snow shoes. Get the tracks for ur over ur shoes at Dick's Sporting Goods for walking on ice.

  6. TAs ruin GPAs. Hover like a psycho and go to their office hours before ANY submission to them. Check in about how labs r going.

  7. If you have a job, sometimes it is okay if not GREAT to do the absolute minimum. Like, take getting ur driver's license when ur 16. You only need a 70 to get ur license. Getting above a 70 doesn't get you a cookie with your license, you just need to 70. In the same way, if you work as a desk receptionist or cashier or idk a dishwasher at a restaraunt- do the literal LEAST you are required to do in order to get paid. All that extra like more hours, taking shifts for ppl, going above & beyond in any way won't do anything but make your GPA suffer. Do the ABSOLUTE LEAST in ur part time jobs, and only have one if you really have to.
