It’s literally only the Rockies, they have no identity and no way forward. Teams that keep getting mentioned like the Pirates at least have a way forward, the rockies meanwhile make zero moves that go toward building a good team, and when they do try to make a move it’s typically a massive deal for only one player. They still have yet to figure out how to build both a rotation and a bullpen that will be able to pitch effectively in their altitude, and they haven’t even committed themselves to rebuilding. Brendan Rodgers and Ryan McMahon seemed like the future for the rockies for a quick second, but it doesn’t seem like there’s anything being done to supplement the rest of the team outside of signing an injury-probe third baseman (which mind you they already had in McMahon, including giving him a team-friendly extension) and extending their 38 year old closer.
