Yeah, people who don't pick one of two pigeon holes are the worst. Like, "pick a tribe", right? Either support the status quo everywhere and hate everyone or support everyone and hate the status quo everywhere, it's not that complicated of a choice.

But seriously, "enlightened centrism" is a term I've only seen used by Reddit liberals, because only Reddit liberals can't process the idea that someone might disagree with them and not be a conservative, an idea which challenges the binary thinking of false dichotomies and therefore demands the harsh response of unrecognized cognitive dissonance.

I get that I sound enlightened, it's partly because I'm being glib and a bit sarcastic, but despite leaning left in my politics and voting patterns, I can't help but get frustrated by left leaning people on Reddit, so self assured and yet so unaware of the left's BS.

What about the right? You might ask... I browse /all, so I never see posts in right leaning subs.
