Okay but this reminded me of the time I was helping a guest and they needed an item in the backroom, I walk back there but realize the location is really odd, somewhere it’s definitely not supposed to be and i’m not too sure where it is. I see an older coworker right around the corner who’s definitely been there longer than me, at this point i’ve been in the backroom for a hot second and quickly ask if she knows where the location is. She stops me dead in her tracks and yells that I should introduce myself and ask her how she is before I EVER say anything to her, blah blah blah I have no manners. I apologize and say hey how are you and she helps me, but i’ve truly never had my blood boil more. Just help me get out of the fucking backroom please. Sometimes I don’t have time for a whole chat.

When guests come up and just say one general word it does piss me off though; as someone who works in Beauty it has been a hard week for me when people ask for facemasks and I immediately think skincare. Black friday last year a lady walked up to me and said swingsets and again, working in beauty I was very busy and VERY confused why I was the person she chose to ask.
