What would you do if you came on a still-alarm (such as a TC) and one (or more) of the vehicles involved displayed bumper stickers that were completely offensive to you?

I think the point he is trying to make is that it does happen, he never said he did it, he never said he agreed with those action, and was simply asking if people have ever had it "cross their mind" before. Perhaps he had never found himself in the situation and found it interesting to reflect, maybe wanted to extend this reflection to the community.

you think all of that is perfectly cool and therefore you want to be able to invoke your own version of it?

You're putting words in his mouth because he never said any of that. He just said it wasn't an unprofessional question. Like literally that's all he said, why do you automatically assume he is A.OKAY with refusing to help people.

You have to see the hypocrisy in disagreeing with laws like that and engaging in the actions you were suggesting

But he never said anything about agreeing or disagreeing with the laws... And never gave any justification for or against said actions. Again, you are assuming the worse. Why?? I get that his question was asked kinda wierldy, but I thought he were supposed to be civil to each other here not just mindlessly assume this guy is an ass because he is being downvoted. The poor guy just wanted to know if any of you have ever had the thought.

What he literally said is:

Of course I would help. Anyone working in any form of public service should be able to put aside differences to get the job done.

Why are you being so harsh and pretending like he said something entirely different? The guy was just asking a question. Albeit a bit of a strange question since no one would ever publicly admit to committing such an atrocity, I feel like this guy is kinda being mistreated here.
