Schedule the remainder of the items for later in your calendar Don't forget about cell phone inbox! Review your next actions lists (5 minutes) Calendar review Go back in calendar and make sure there aren't any loose threads Review upcoming calendar Review waiting for list Review projects list Review checklists Review reference files (this can be a quick check if needed)

The reason there are some time limits on certain items is that I was spending too much time doing them. Weekly reviews really aren't supposed to be all about catching up on processing or collecting, and I started to spend too much time clearing my inboxes. Instead, now I make sure to spend a few minutes on it but schedule the rest for later. Otherwise the weekly review is something I dread (and tend not to do) and I'm not holding myself accountable for clearing my inbox more regularly.
