100%. It's a really strong proposition actually: have this veneer of credibility "historian" which you big up with analysis takes that may or may not be backed up by actual analysis. Nobody's here for that, of course, but it allows you to build another part of your persona that is an endless bad take machine that just refers to the supposed expert persona when called out.
