Also, I don’t live in Naperville, he just found a good deal at the dealership there. Also, I agree with you about Naperville and how entitled and spoiled the kids there are. I also had a shitty experience with them when I was in high school.

And it’s not like I’m getting it just to be stupid and rev the engine. I have a job I need to get to. If he wanted to buy me a “fuck you” sports car, he would have bought me a Porsche or something. But the Volkswagen Golf is important in our family (and it was like $24k, some of those kids drive $100,000 g-wagons) , and I’m just posting this to celebrate the tradition and welcome myself into this community online.
