Whenever I need to laugh this has always been my go-to......

I’ll give it to her that the world of the game is generally beautiful (with the exception of Velen). But, the beauty of the landscape is really like makeup on a pig.

Like, there’s a phantom army threatening to bring the apocalypse. There’s a mad king committing mass genocide. There are terrible monsters that wreak havoc. There are witches that literally demand human sacrifice. Everyone is constantly at each others throats.

Although the landscape is beautiful, the world itself is not.

And, IMO, the word of the Witcher was not worth fighting for. What was worth fighting for though was Ciri, Yennefer, Triss, Dandelion, and all the other friends and allies you met along the way. Without them, there would be no motivation to do anything or save anyone.
