Which graphic cards to choose from? GTX or RTX?

I agree with your statement, but it's questionable whether DXR or ray tracing has any relevance at all. So far, there are almost no games, which support this feature while at the same time RTX graphics cards are not strong enough to feature DXR with more than 70 fps, which is detrimental for any user, who is used to 144 fps on a 144hz monitor. I tried DXR in BFV and felt like the whole game was lagging while I basically noticed no difference since you'll barely take the time to look down there to that mud-surrounded piece of water, which shows a beautiful but meaningless reflection.

I wouldn't recommend LTT videos as actual benchmark clarification since they're more on the side of content producers for either crazy things or on a more casual basis. Then again, I'm an avid subscriber/watcher of their videos, but don't really take it seriously either.

As for the CPUs in notebooks, yes, this is and will remain a problem for the future to deal with. That's why a proper thermal solution is one of the biggest points when buying laptop.

My point is that it's not really worth the price difference to buy an RTX 2060 laptop over a GTX 1070 version if the CPU severly limits the user's experience anyway. As for actually upgrading the CPU, it's usually impossible and even if it was possible, the thermal systems of notebooks are not even able to properly cool the recent intel chips anyway.
