*"At the dawning of Ark: the Beach Bums crawled forth onto land, shaking away their primordial beginnings and quickly learning the lay of the land. After successfully establishing a community and close ties with their beastly dinosaur brethren, the beach bums felt like they had achieved harmony with the land. Then, disaster struck! A group of savages destroyed their base, killing and harvesting all the loyal animal companions. The beach bums were decimated entirely, or were they?
Crawling from the remnants of their old shelters, the beach bums made a pact. Become stronger, gain more allies, work harder, so hard that they would stay up way past their bedtimes. At the end of a long day their glorious base stood impervious on the hills. More animals were tamed and the lands shaped for the greater cause. After many a hard days work, the beach bums once again had a home. Little did they know that the great disaster than once spelled doom for them, was rising in the darkness - rearing it's ugly head to strike again. Destruction, bodies piled the streets and building fell to axes and hatred, the remaining beach bums fled their once happy home looking for shelter but shelter was nowhere to be found. Now, the remaining beach bums are empty husks of their former selves, stalking the shadows, looking for the next meal without a thought of raising themselves once again to their former glory. Is this the end for the beach bums, or perhaps a newer, shinier start."*
