How'd you find /r/brokehugs?

Oh, Jesus. It's been a while, now. I started redditing on another account that I later killed back about two years ago after a bad break up from a long term boyfriend. My heart was broken and I desired to be better, so, of course, I hit up the mothersub. Through that, I found sidehugs which I thought was fucking hilarious. It was there that someone mentioned brokehugs, and, lo and behold, here I am.

What's your religious background?

Dad is extremely conservative/Pentecostal, mama was Episcopalian.

Spent half my life in a Pentecostal church, and then six years in a prosperity church. Set up for a lot of disappointment.

Dated a Baptist. He and I explored non-denominational churches. I became quietly Agnostic. He became Anglican. I became Christian again. We broke up.

Temporarily became Pentecostal again. Felt extremely uncomfortable. Left. Currently bordering between Agnosticism/Christianity. I have been looking into the Methodist church, though. My poor aunt will always try to convert me to Catholicism until the day she dies.

What non-reddit related thing do you bitch about the most?

Nursing school. I love it, but it can be a bitch.

What do you like best about /r/brokehugs?

Community. There are multiple opinions here, and they're voiced openly. I find that to be extremely important. Some of you are more humorous, some are more straight forward and logical. I learn stuff from you guys sometimes, and it reminds me how collaborative or divisive that human beings can be. I see a type of beauty in that.
