Missing a chunk of months from my time with ACS servicer before Mohela. A couple months of back and forth and I was able to talk to a supervisor last week who put in a manual review for the missing qualifying months (over 120 in eligible) and she called me back this week to let me know they are aware of the issue and those they have identified with the same issue as mine have all been grouped together (in a batch) with priority to be corrected. She said it should be two weeks and I should see my qualifying counts corrected. Then on to be sent over for forgiveness processing, which has its own timeframe. She didn’t elaborate as to what caused the issue but via my own research I have deducted the error was on Mohela’s end. My FSA data had my ACS reported date of disbursement correct and in repayment, but when it transferred to Mohela, they put the loan status as in school for the whole time I was in repayment with ACS and only started my repayment status from when they took over the servicing, causing the gap of qualifying months missing from my tracker. I think had it processed correctly the first time, I would have been in the batch forgiven today, but hopefully soon. Still on TeamWaitingRoom for now.
