Who would you have liked to have signed?

Haha it's cool I don't think we were that heated, I've grown up a Chelsea fan in Millwall territory (went to the same school as gavin peacock that's why i supported Chelsea since i was like 5) so arguments in the pub kind of neutralise any anger online!

Indeed re griezmann, he was my first choice before admitting defeat and now Pedro was the only realistic one but even that's out of our reach it seems, the real kicker would be if united nab stones as well.

Agreed we can score goals but mainly from set pieces or from hazard being involved, referring again to the second half of last season so many of our attacked totally went walk about form wise. Cuadrado had been given enough of a chance now and for the money we spent you have to think that could indeed have gone towards a griezmann or bought us Pedro now with change to spare.

I wanted to believe in falcao but sadly I now believe it's not a form thing, I believe the injury has taken him down quite a few notches from the world class player he was a couple of seasons ago, that combined with the physically of the premiership and I just can't see him making an impact at all, if this is the case then I really hope it is just José gaining a favour from the agent for a future signing being handed to us as a first choice. I'll gladly eat my words if I'm totally wrong but I just don't see it, united aren't stupid enough to let someone like him go if there was potential there IMO.

Also Costa looks like he's going to be injury prone yet again this season so we are left with Remy and falcao, just doesn't excite me personally, griezmann as a number 10 would have had me chomping at the bit for this season, but I'm predicting a boring 2-0 win Saturday with goals from set pieces. I pray I'm wrong but I just feel it's going to be more of the same, knocked out in Europe, probably deservedly and then if we do retain the title it will be very tight.
