With Sun/Moon breaking Nintendo's record on pre-orders, are any other 90's children basking in the nostalgia that Pokemon is effectively "back?"

Im happy for you all, but here in Brazil things are different, sure, there was a LOT of popularity for Pokemon GO, in fact the first two weeks where i could head to my uni and see all kinds of people playing a pokemon game, even if it isnt a "real" pokemon game, the fact that i had random people from either gender talking to me about it, asking me what i've found, and that ive done this aswell, was simply awesome.

As a fan since generation I and one of the kids that crowded the one guy that was lucky enough to have a Game Boy Color to play pokemon red during school and get to play it for 2 mins, and that colected pokemon cards back in the day, having those 2-3 weeks was simply magical.

However for Sun/Moon the popularity isnt nearly as much, people lost interest since GO's downfall and a lot of it has to do with how 3DS and the game cost insanely high and ive never seen anyone that owns one, nintendo closed their operations in the country so the only way to get one is importing it from another country wich makes it even more expensive.

Im currently playing trought Moon using Citra and the leaked ROM's, it will be a single player adventure without online features, wich sucks, but the game is still awesome.I know that this is frowned upon by many but trust me, i'd much rather have the console and game and also have people to play with.

Sorry for the rant.
