Ah, the Mary Sue problem

A woman invented the term, go call her misogynistic instead of someone who isn't misogynistic. Mary Sues have been used to describe male characters as well, as it has stuck better than the whole 'Gary Sue' attempt some years back.

If the primary source for the argument is the person who created the term in this instance, you must think I created the term. You must think, even after commenting on my appearance, that I am Paula Smith. This is great!

Oh good, your definition of primary source means that I am completely correct since you are stating I fall under A. How can I use a 'primary source' incorrectly yet your very definition of what I was thinking of (according to you) is one of the proper definitions of primary source? You just dislike that it wasn't the same one you were thinking of instead? The good news is that it doesn't make it wrong... even a little sliver of a bit wrong.

Is it foolish to argue with someone you think is an idiot? ...or do you believe it's a genius decision and action?
