No where does it say you use the same game score.

Tiebreaker are determined by your Match wins and your opponenets Match win. so it doesnt matter if you are 6-0 as 12-0 or 12-6. As long as you win and your opponent does well you will move on.

The tie break score is calculated into 3 tiers indicated as T1 / T2 / T3

Tier 1 is calculated by the relative score of opponents that you’ve played. Teams that played against stronger opponents will be ranked higher within the tournament. This is calculated by summing the number of points each opponent contributes.

Opponents contribute “+1” point for each win they accumulate in the group, and “-1” point for each loss they accumulate in the group. A bye contribute 0 points. An opponent cannot contribute less -3 points to a team’s first tie break score.

For example, Team 1 has played against three opponents and has one bye. Team 1’s fourth-round opponent has 4 wins and 0 losses (+4). Team 1’s third-round opponent has 2 wins and 2 losses (+0). Team 1’s second-round opponent has 0 wins and 4 losses (-3). Team 1 had a bye during the first round (+0).

To determine a team’s T1 tiebreaker, the point contributions for all opponents are added: T1 score = (+4)+(0)+(-3)+(0) = +1.

Tier 2 is calculated by the relative score of your opponents opponents.

Teams that played against opponents who consistently played against stronger opponents throughout the tournament will be ranked higher. To calculate this score, sum the first tiebreaker score for all opponents that a team played.

For example, Team 2 has played against 5 opponents. Team 2’s first round opponent’s Tiebreak #1 (T1) score +3. Team 2’s second round opponent’s T1 score is -2. Team 2’s third round T1 score is +5. Team 2’s fourth round T1 score is 0. Team 2’s fifth round opponent’s T1 is +4. Team 2’s Tiebreak #2 (T2) score is (+3)+(-2)+(+5)+(0)+(+4) = +10.

Tier 3 is calculated by when a teams losses took place. Teams who lose earlier in the tournament are penalized more heavily than later losses.
