Polymer production is completely sustainable and pretty easy to set up. If you play with other colonies you can sometimes trade it with them for other items.

Unless you play as Russia or with mods concrete will run out if you play long games. If you’re playing a long game make sure you use domes that can be more easily maintained with resources such as polymers.

Japan’s drones are pretty awesome and fun. SpaceY’s rockets are super quick and can make you trading superpower if you get lucky with other colonies.

You know about SurvivingMaps, right? You can tailor your experience quite a bit with their filters.
