Was your second pregnancy different than your first?

This is so similar to what I was going to say, though more generally.

I had pelvic floor therapy with my second pregnancy. Mental health counselling. Prenatal massages. I took tylenol when I needed it without feeling guilty. Ditto coffee. And during delivery, I held my ground when I knew I was progressing faster than is typical...unlike my 1st delivery which was very scary because I didn't know to trust my body.

Basically, I actually took care of myself and advocated for myself. As a result, even though I started my second pregnancy 6 mo postpartum, it was way healthier. My bloodwork was better all the way through and even though the experience harder in many ways because I was chasing a toddler, I came out on the other side even better than before in terms of my physical and mental health.

(Plus that toddler to chase around and keep me eating somewhat healthy probably didnt hurt...)
