Remember playing Yu-Gi-Oh back in the day.
There is a card called Raigeki that basically destroys all of the monsters on the opponents field. Activate the card and then wreck hovak on life points. Almost impossible to recover.
There is a counter trap card called anti-Raigeki. There are several problems. One it is hard to find since it's a holographic rare. It's not difficult to deactivate or remove trap cards. If there are no trap cards on opponent fields, it's almost always safe to use Raigeki.
I haven't kept up with the game in like 20 years so I am sure they found a way around it. But it turned out to be an annoying game of whoever draws Raigeki first and it ruined the game.
