In the grand scheme of things, this all depends on your unit’s leadership.

I’d like to think 9/10 nobody in your chain or command is going to care that you’re dating someone in a different rank structure, but at the same time I wouldn’t go around boasting about it either because there are some assholes out there who would make it a big deal.

I’m in a similar situation too. Rejoined after a bit of a break in service as a SPC and I’m dating a CPT (met outside of the army and we’re both 26) but we’ve got no intentions of getting married for the sake of “regulations.”

Just keep your relationship on the down-low I guess, and assuming they aren’t in your immediate chain of command it shouldn’t be too big of an issue.
