12 months between Butterfly and B#RN might not be so bad after all

This is a different perspective and honestly, this is great analysis.

I am more in the spectrum of "patience can pay off" than I am on getting angry at the current situation and lashing out at the company.

2019 was, music-wise, a very scarce year. But content wise, it was very full. We got so much that we didn't in 2018. Finally the girls began to take part on more show appearences, slowly making a name for themselves domestically. Yes, some might say "oh but it wasn't that much and only on small shows" but it IS something. They have to begin somewhere, a "no-name" group like them obviously wouldn't take part on more well known shows.

The fact that they get invited to even bigger scale festivals also shows that yes, there is a demand.

Also, one small but interesting thing that I noticed, recently I saw some new fansites opening (even for the more unpopular members), it might not look like much but it is also an indication that they are reaching a wilder public.

There's also what perhaps was the biggest turning point and maybe the best of this year: KCON. Yes, again some might complain that they did nothing of the hype, but KCON showed something important: there is demand for LOONA on the US, one of the so desired markets kpop companies are trying to break into. And LOONA, an unknown group domestically, dominated KCON.

The events they attended were packed, they received the loudest cheers. They were so well received that even a MC jokingly called the event "LOONACON".

This shows that yes, maybe domestically there isn't much of a demand (yet), but outside there are a lot of people who'd pay to go to a concert. Which makes a world tour, or at least american tour, something that will perhaps happen in the near future.

I know, there are a lot of spots that their management needs to fix, that this delay makes people go mad and worry about the future. That maybe I am just being overly optimistic and delusional, but we never know what will happen tomorrow. Nobody knows.

And in all honesty, my main worry is if the girls are truly okay. If they are well fed, healthy both mentally and physically, if they are satisfied with idol life and all. I wish them all success of the world, but above all that they are having fun and healthy, because I don't want success at the cost of their well being.
