I am both a Tech (Undergrad) and LSU (Grad School) alumnus, and I grew up pretty close to college station so my perspective on this thread is sort of unique and i have a few points (1) FUCK A&M your traditions are retarded and bothersome (2) TAMU should definitely get some blame for the bonfire shit...every A&M engineering alum I know brags about the quality of their education fucking constantly and the bonfire is among your biggest traditions but somehow noting the fucking obvious gap makes me a bad person (3) Admittedly, most of the fans at Tech are pretty terrible...I personally almost got beat up by royce white at a basketball game in the Pat Knight era (4) This point is for LSU fans here Tech kind of sucks at most sports...the quietest game I ever attended while at LSU would have ranked pretty high among the loudest at tech, its just a different environment but one that is nonetheless passionate, so instead of just relying on overwhelming noise Tech usually relies on degenerates who LOVE yelling BALK! as much as possible during an opponents wind up
