Find som form astringent (witch hazel or sea breeze) and apply it to the area. It will sing but it will slow down the formation of new bumps.
Crush up a few aspirin and mix with sea breeze or witch hazel to form a paste and apply it to the razor burn. Leave it on as long as you want, longer is better.
Go commando when you can. Airing it out is a good idea.
You don't have to never shave again. You have two options: Learn to shave right or buy some kind of hair remover that's labeled for "bikini" use.
As far as learning to shave the right way:
Always, always, ALWAYS use a BRAND NEW and HIGH QUALITY razor. No shitty disposable razors you've had for the past two months. Designate this razor your go to for shaving your downstairs. I never use one more than about three times before it is downgraded to use on my legs and replaced. Invest in some grape seed oil and use it to shave/ to moisturizer after shaving.
Okay so you have your astringent, your brand new razor, and grape seed oil. Now what? Make sure your hair isn't too long, about as long as a grain if rice is as long as you want your hair to be before you start shaving. If it's longer than that trim it. Now it's time to shower. You want to take a nice hot shower to soften up the hair, putting some conditioner on there is never a bad idea. Once you're done with your shower get out and dry off. Some people like to mix conditioner and grape seed oil to shave but I prefer to just use grape seed oil. Slather your poison of choice all over your pubes and start shaving. I recommend on shaving with the grain (downwards) for the first few times. Your skin may get irritated the first few times you shave like this but it should not be this severe and it will become less pronounced over time. After you're satisfied with your shave immediately put some astringent on a cotton ball and apply it all over. It will sting but it will close the pores and prevent ingrown hairs. Once the astringent has dried apply grape seed oil. Repeat using astringent/ grape seed oil throughout the day. If you start to develop ingrown hairs use the aspirin astringent mixture described above. Going commando for the Iraq few hours after shaving is a good idea.
