The Western media is freaking out over the fertility rate in Japan and confusing it with sex. Meanwhile, they belong to a group that probably has a very similar fertility rate. This blog puts the white fertility rate in America at 1.77 vs 1.43 in Japan. But, I bet that if you excluded poor white Americans, the wealthier Americans would have a very similar fertility rate than Japan. Let's face it, wealthier white Western couples rarely have more than 3 children, and many have zero or only one... The situation is not very different from Japan.
