Active Carrier List with lane info ?

There are many of this type of list/service available already.

You would need to make a superior product with very high standards for both the carrier and the broker in order to really break into the market.

The amount of money and staff that would go into simply compiling the data and making it a service that anyone, especially drivers, would go to on a regular basis would be phenomenal. You would have to hire a dev team to create the app and a team to be calling carriers non stop to see if they qualify for a premium service that isn't already out there.

Perhaps in a market where brokers aren't having to pay crap carriers an astronomical amount per mile, you might get some carriers interested. Right now, carriers have zero problems keeping their trucks busy. They aren't going to be interested in qualifying for yet another list and brokers aren't going to be interested in DAT rats that they already source on DAT or Sylectus.

Now. If I had a service where only very high quality carriers were listed and only top rated brokers were allowed, I would absolutely get the company to pay in.

Carriers have to submit at least 3 active references, nobody under 6 month authority, industry standard insurance already verified and no independent dispatchers.

Brokers have to do the same, required broker authority. No "agent" model, fully insured with all contingent policies and good credit score showing payments of net 30 or less. Anyone repeatedly known as being crap (TQL for example) not allowed.

Staff that thoroughly investigates for double brokerage MC information and eliminates them immediately.

Anything less than that, you're another in a sea of already available product.
