Do you agree on the abolishment of the 60/40 local to foreign ownership restriction

Just looking at the statistics are obvious bogus.

It's not a "statistic". It's illustrative. It's meant to illuminate a logical concept. It's deliberately exaggerated SK that a simple mind can readily see the contrast. Like the contrast between laziness and crookedness in the Philippines and Ireland. You failed twice. I'll try again.

If I said, "Scandinavians are taller than Pilifinos," you would squeal, "Even many Scandinavian people themselves admit they are short!" That would be as stupid as saying that Pilifinos aren't crooked and lazy because even though there are tall and short people in both places, we are not discussing individuals. Instead we are discussing populations. As a population, Pilifinos are short. And lazy. And crooked.

And besides, removing the blaming on the Spanish, what else could be blamed for lack of economic progress of Philippines?

Crooked, lazy Pilifinos. Who blame others rather than take responsibility and action.

Brain drain means well educate professional Filipinos leave the country meaning scientists, engineers, businessmen and even potential good politicians leave the country so their expertise are not utilised and instead by other countries.

I know what it means. Ireland had a brain drain, too. Tens of thousands of people, among them the country's best and brightest, were killed or sent to prison in the twenty years before Ireland became a powerhouse economy. Korea had a brain drain. Shortly before their meteoric rise, between 400,000 and 800,000 had their brains drained in a war. Many others were siphoned off to China and the Soviet states. Singapore had a brain drain. In the 50s, economic collapse and racism drove out a vast number of Chinese who could afford to flee. In the 60s the same thing happened but Malays fled. In the 70s singapore became rich. England had a brain drain. Ever heard of WW2? By saying you suffer from the brain drain you insist that the Pilifinos here now arent smart enough to compete with smart countries economically. You're right. But not because of brain drain. Because Pilifinos are too lazy and crooked to become educated.

Also, Marcos regime is attributable to getting rid of prospective future leaders of the nation.

So? He also got rid of prospective future lazy crooks, so it all evens out.

Do you have anyone else you want to blame? American military personnel? Muslims? Ghosts?
