It's almost too easy to point out the hypocrisy

Find a new narrative

Their narrative,

There's a reason the right fears an educated populace, they would lose their biggest voter base. It's not 12th century thinking, its politics.

In other words, "the uneducated populace are more likely to vote for the right."

When we look at the actual exit polls, amoung white college graduates, it's pretty even, 45/48 (Clinton/Trump). However, amoung white non-college, it's pretty haphazard, 29/66. The 29/66 group made up the majority of Trump supporters in the exit polls.

These two data points support the above narrative, provided the addendum "white."

When we look at non-whites, it's 72/22 for college grads and 76/20 for non-college.

The last data point does not fit the narrative. Still, with the addendum, it's a valid point especially when you study history (Indian/American-British Independance Movements) and literature (think Orwell). It is harder to deal with an educated populace and much easier to deal with an ignorant one.
