Yes you will be amazed how nice and pretty it looks when clean and it’s kind of fun doing it!

This is the method i’ve found works best

Using this or something similar to first wipe down the zipper and pulls. I cut the cloth into strips as it’s a bit greasy so working in smaller sections is more manageable. For the actual zipper this is usually enough so i stop there.

On the pulls I use Barkeeper friend (you can buy it anywhere it’s super cheap) and dip a qtip in water then dip qtip in the BF and gently start rubbing the product on the zipper then dry it off. Not a paste just enough to dampen the qtip is all you need. Would not recommend using on the actual zipper as it will look almost like a toothpaste stain on the fabric part once dried.

Last I use this the same way using the TINIEST little bit on a qtip to lightly polish. It gives the nice clean brass a super glossy look. Just dry with paper towel or microfiber cloth until the polish is completely removed.

You may still notice on the zipper a slight color difference between the tarnished and non tarnished parts but more of an outline nothing drastic. I hope this helps!
