Oh OK. That's super close to what I already do. However, I just tried and succeeded at my first double boil cook tonight and Holy shit I wish I had tried it a long time ago lol. The soft I've been getting recently hasn't been the best, and I've had a hell of a time getting all of it to turn to oil for some reason. No matter what I did only like 90% of it would turn to oil and it took a shitload of heat to do it. I read double boil would solve that problem and sure enough it worked phenomenally. The strength of the hard was way better, smoked far less harshly, and barely had a taste whereas using a spoon this shit would taste horrible. My chore barely looks like I smoked the stuff was so clean. Sorry for writing you a fucking book lol but I'm just excited about my newly learned method And wanted to suggest it if you've never tried.
