Why am I being asked to tip?

Do you also tip every time a ups driver brings a package to your door? I also give gift cards to my postal worker during holidays because I’ve known them for a long time. Same with the garbage men. All the other professions you mentioned are tipped based on my experience and if everything comes out ok, tip. You drive reckless or damage my items during a move, I’m not tipping.

These have all been tipped previously. Guilt tipping at checkout places is a new phenomenon recently built into POS systems. Lot of these systems force you to make a tip selection and if you try to back out, it cancels the transaction and they have to rerun your card. You have to select other percentage and type in 0.00 to leave no tip at a fast food place. That’s pretty infuriating.
