They're always hiring, been here 12 years and it has always been this way except for a dark time when Amazon bought whole foods.

The acquisition won't happen for 180-24 months and we have to continue operations as if the merger doesn't go through. We must continue to treat Albertsons as a competitor....so they definitely aren't hiring this early.

Once the acquisition goes through I don't see much changes. Some systems will be combined, others will operate independently for years to come. Kroger will absolutely keep Albertsons corp and tech offices in some capacity - they've done this with every acquisition. Cincy will definitely get additional roles.
