Okay there’s a misunderstanding here. We did a black history month event because it was black history month and we thought it would be important to do an event. We didn’t know about the group at this time. But we found out about them and asked if they wanted to collab, which is not a retaliation. But they are angry at us because, through our invitation, they discovered we existed and think we stole the main ideas of their club but essentially white washed it. We have only had like 3 meetings and one of our first events happened to be black history month, so I can see why they would think we are also a racially based group. I just needed to clarify that our club had 0 intention of retaliation just because they don’t think light skinned poc are poc
