In fairness to them, going there is is not an easy thing. If you have a Palestinian citizenship then being able to go to Ben-Gurion airport is out of the table. For example, I have US and Palestinian citizenship so I am in the population registry that Israel has control over. I can not go to Ben-Gurion, I have to go through Jordan to get to the West Bank. Now if you do not have Palestinian citizenship and only your host country citizenship then you can go to Ben-Gurion but you won't have a nice time or they will make it very hard for you. Many of us in the diaspora have both citizenship.
