Moroccan VS Iranian architecture: Choose one!

Even though I am Moroccan, I have no problem giving this one to Iran for the simple reason that unlike Morocco, which has been very conservative architecturally and on only few occasions has been disloyal to adhering to architectural human scale, architecture in Iran did not become crystallised or static after the 14th century as ours did but instead developed for longer even after the general decline in all areas of Islamic civilization set in. Moreover, my favourite building in the whole wide world is the Taj Mahal. She is the greatest endeavour of any civilization of any era. Although she is technically Mughal, her Persianate character can't be ignored and should win Iran a special status.
