Am I paranoid in thinking I'm treated differently at my work place?

Speaking as an Indian woman in management in the US pharmaceutical industry, the upper echelons of which are notoriously packed with old white men: women have to work harder, and so do introverts. There’s no denying that.

However, for some perspective: don’t view your relationship with your manager as chamchagiri, it’s more about managing upwards. If you’re doing the work and you’re good at it, make sure you’re diplomatically and strategically communicating that to your boss. Makes corporate politics a lot easier.

That being said, there are some work places that are simply not a good fit and as others have pointed out, it may be time to switch. Only you can be the judge of that.
