these threads are so crazy though, like there is so much evidence of his verbal and physical abuse, he was literally found guilty by a court for 12 counts of domestic violence and if you read through that shit I don't know how you couldn't come away with the conclusion that he's absolutely minimizing his own behavior or even lying about it (especially with the plane incident and things like that, like read the texts).

yes, Amber Heard was abusive and probably has BPD and was doing fucked up things - but he is obviously much stronger than her, he could literally leave if he wants to leave, there is nothing forcing him to stay to scream at her for being a "fat cow" and a "disgusting cunt" and writing horrible texts about her to people he knows. people are delusional writing "I hope Disney writes him an apology and makes a whole other captain jack sparrow movie," like are not they reading the very graphic, vile things that he wrote and listening to what he also said? they're excusing away everything he did, but they don't understand that the people on Amber Heards side are doing the exact same thing, and either way...you're ignoring evidence on both sides, they were both fucked up, they were both toxic, it may be impossible on the outside to tell who was more at fault or who instigated what...but it's just absolute bullshit to hold JD (or AH) as saint who did no wrong. reddit is doing its typical black-and-white witch-hunt thing, and regardless of who they chose to target I wouldn't agree in this case. it's just way more complicated than people are making it out to be
