I wouldn't be surprised if 2018 breaks the camel's back. How much money did ABC lose with Roseanne, when even her kids knew she was a moron (they tried to "keep" Twitter away from her, but she's a sad addict?) Is this James Gunn thing remotely good for Disney's multi-billion juggernaut of a Marvel super-franchise, with millions irritated at Disney and millions also admittedly acknowledging Gunn was a moron?
I'm not prepared to say that was a "good move." Gunn and Roseanne needed to worry about their own blathering stupidity, but then executives don't even look great firing them (they look like hysterical 2018 fools, to many.)
So James Gunn arguing with MAGA dicks, impressing 900 people actually engaged with his political Twitter arguments, has, through a series of events, made the president of Disney look like an asshole. That's where we're at. How soon before the contract actually stipulates radio silence? Uh, maybe effective immediately?
