Any tips for new player?

If you're looking for tips, I'd suggest checking out the Fresh off the Stagecoach thread, which is pinned every week for new players to ask for advice.

Additionally, in that thread you can find a link to my tips post and TPLuna's tips post, both of which are well worth reading and offer plenty of advice, along with explaining some mechanics that aren't well explained in game.

Finally, despite what the other person said, feel free to play with the Leper or Occultist. There aren't any genuinely bad characters in this game, and everyone's perfectly viable from Radiant Apprentice all the way up to Stygian Champion. The Leper's a highly self sustaining character who makes a cakewalk of the DLCs(Crimson Court and Color of Madness), 3 of the 4 final quests of the game, the Cove location, and a solid chunk of the game's boss fights. Boasting two powerful self buffs with Withstand and Solemnity, he's an excellent character for any longer fights and a lot of bosses, chewing through the summoned minions a lot of bosses rely on with ease. His Accuracy is rather low of course, so you'll need to take either +Accuracy Trinkets or Buffs to make up for it.

The Occultist meanwhile might be an inconsistent healer, but that's because he's much more focused on Damage Prevention instead of Damage Recovery. With the strongest single target stun in the game, a solid damage debuff, Marking synergy, bonus damage to the most numerous enemy type in game, and a decent pull, he's got plenty of options to help out the rest of his team by preventing damage/stress in the first place.

If you run a Vestal instead of an Occultist, she's more focused on Damage Recovery, and offers very little else to a team outside of pure healing, a mediocre stun, and a small bit of damage. Both Vestals and Occultists are perfectly viable, just depends on whether you want better Recovery but lose out on a solid fighter and synergies, or if you want better Prevention but have to take a backup heal in case of a low roll.

Additionally, keep in mind at max level all heroes have their bleed resist naturally raised to the point that only the Antiquarian and Leper can still be bled by the Occultist. So Bleeds stop being much of a threat at that point unless you have Quirks lowering Bleed Resist.
