Anyone else feeling like FTB (possibly other depts) RTW plans are absurd?

Wow. Many posts sound like CPUC. Maybe management is getting wind that execs want to have warmed cubicle chairs. Health and safety be damned. I have heard management saying they personally like random face to face in person conversation. Also mentioning the benefits of being in the office for future ladder climbing. Trying the hard sell to make people choose to come in. Most workers would rather never set foot in an office again and have shown that they can absolutely do their jobs, working at home, as good or better than was done when working in the office. Happy employees are more productive, work harder and better, and they're safer from face to face germ spread (lest we forget pre COVID times when your cube neighbors would come in coughing, sniffling, and blowing their noses all day, getting everyone else sick and talking about how tough they are for coming in while sick because they're so dedicated to the job). Working from home also saves a lot of money for the State. Staff should be allowed to work from home if that's their most productive work place or in the office if that's their most productive work place. If management can't trust staff to work, they should never have hired them in the first place.
