Most rentals in Guelph are on kijiji, the cannon and Facebook marketplace. It will be extremely tough to find anything for October, since rentals are generally posted months advance (when previous tenants give 60 days notice of leaving), and there’s a huge rental shortage. Most student rentals are may-may and the listings for those generally are posted in January-March. Rentals are crazy expensive here, so if you see anything that looks cheap or even reasonable it’s defiantly a scam. Rentals also go very fast, so you basically have to reply to an ad in the first couple hours. If the ad has been up for 12-24 hours, you are probably too late.
