I get what you’re saying. But people are really hating a teenager just because she slept with a friend’s boyfriend? I think this is pretty common in teenagers. And they just ignore the fact that she has suffered major trauma. She has been raped, men have literally used her body to satisfy their toxic masculinity. But Maddy on the other hand told Nate that she was raped, black-out drunk (which means she cannot consent) by Tyler which was not true. If it wasn’t because of Nate, she would’ve never reported Tyler. She had no problem with him. Also, it wasn’t portrayed that Maddy was a bad person. She was portrayed as a mean girl with a big heart. But what happened with Tyler was terrible, and Maddy did play a role in that.
