Applause in Queensland Parliament gallery as historic bill passed, legalising voluntary assisted dying

I've done DBT, atypical antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, off-label meds (meds that lower blood pressure used for anxiety), micro and macro dosing with psychedelics, and meditation. I don't know of any doctors around me that do vagal nerve stimulation, deep brain, neurofeedback, or genetic testing. I've been struggling to find a place that does genetic testing that's also covered by my insurance, because my family is just riddled with genetic disorders. If I can find one covered under my insurance I might give it a try.

I'll admit, some of those things I've never heard of before. It's difficult when medical professionals tell you there's nothing more that can be done, and they can't help you anymore. It's really soul-crushing. Because more than one doctor has told me there's nothing left for me to try and they give up. I can't even get a doctor to prescribe me birth control because they're concerned by the possibility of mood swings, and non-hormonal birth control "isn't what (they'd) want for (their) daughter."
