Guaranteed 0-deaths are not a thing, for any character against any character. Falcons combos on sheik are only guaranteed for a couple hits with optimal di and often reset into a techchase situation, edgeguard situation (which can either be great or awful depending on how close sheik is to the stage) or sheik will land on a platform. Even despite ledge hop knee and dair falcons edgeguard game on sheik still has plenty of mixups to it both on reading the vanish and sheiks di upon landing. Falcon has pretty bad frame data and cannot perform a standard ledge getup into a grounded move to edgeguard sheik like other characters can. Sheik can sometimes vanish too far away or onto a platform where a ledge hop aerial cannot cut it. Falcon cannot challenge sheik to vanish early like fox can because falcon does not have as safe or rewarding options to hit sheik while she is vulnerable recovering, and missing a bair or fair will leave falcon offtstage and vulnerable to a gimp. Theres far too many situations to just say that falcon will always get a 0-death and sheik has much better survivability than players give her credit for these days. Whenever I hear players say that falcons punish game on sheik makes up for every strength that sheik has over him, and to go as far as to say its near even or even makes me want to puke.

These claims that sheik is not as bad as spacies or that sheik is evenish for falcon are not even really backed by results. Wizzrobe is actually putting in the work against sheik, but hes also notably performed decently against top spacies for quite some time, destroyed zhu in crews at tbh5, and recently has destroyed lucky in 2 sets and brought westballz to a game 5. He even snatched a game off of mango at pax. While at the same time wizzrobes last set against druggedfox he lost 1-6 at tipped off, a worse result than anything hes had recently vs a top level spacie. While wizzrobes play has shown theres a lot more to the matchup as falcon than previously thought, nothing about his performances scream that its a better matchup than spacies; his results vs sheiks and spacies has been just about even. Coincidentally people have been saying the three matchups (fox falco sheik) have been just about equally bad for falcon for years. You can still make an argument that any one is better or worse than the other, but thats just about all there is to it. Theres not results even with the strides falcons have been taking that provides any kind of inclination towards any of the matchups being better or worse. Much of what people consider a strength of the matchup could also just be attributed to wizzrobes good play, as axe has actually taken sets off of m2k a couple times and nobody is going to attribute it to being a good matchup for chu.
