[Attacked] It was our turn last night.

We are all frustrated. There are 23 members of the tribe. Acam, Panda, Bred, Zerg and myself make only 5.

Everyone has put work in on the base but we also wanted to play the game for ourselves.

My perspective as I type this / reason for building the west base: Whilst most people were taming butt loads of dino's we were running up and down the mountain all damn day.

Please don't think I'm being disingenuous. I know that everyone has put a lot of work in but I'm sure everyone can relate to coming home at the end of a resource run/construction only to find that the dino population has doubled and half the resources you've gathered for the walls/base construction are missing.

At the end of the day we didn't feel like we were seeing much of a return because of the issues with people taking what they wanted/needed when they wanted/needed it.

We just wanted a space where we could keep track of our own resources/design and build our own base with a small enough group that everyone could talk and contribute without getting drowned out with background noise in the TS/feeling cramped in the current base.

This never used to be an issue when we were only a small handful of people. We were unified and acted with cohesion rather than a loose association of people each pursuing their own goals. We just made the mistake of continuing with that playstyle instead of adapting and organizing.

Honestly I think we are too big. Period. We've tried separating into small groups on the TS so each group has a chill place where the conversation can relate to the activity at hand (Mining/Taming/Ect).

That didn't work.

No one observed comm discipline. The channels were filled with people camping them not engaged in the channels purpose and talking about irrelevant things.

We've spent a lot of time together this past 2 weeks.

I've personally spent more time on Ark with SCA than I have either sleeping or working. We are probably a bit sick of each other. The burn out is quite real, you can hear it in our voices. Where we would normally be happy and chipper to see each other we are barely civil. What used to be minor personality quirks has been amplified by the stress of the game and sheer proximity the environment and voice chat gives us. I'm positive a good number are pretty sick of my shit by now. I'm sorry and I still love you!

All of this has made it hard for many people to stomach being in those channels. Because as soon as those who want a nice quiet channel to focus on what they are doing move, the rest of the group follow.

Solution time: We vote on what has to happen, if we cannot reach a consensus then we either appoint a leader and let them take charge or split into groups that are each more closely aligned with it's members goals. I'm not talking about splitting the tribe either but sticking to small groups with unified purpose.
