Commiting horrific acts knows no political ideology. And what it means to be a moderate (or left and right) changes from time and place.

In a different time with different political factions yesterday's moderate might be today's radical & v versa.

For instance in ancient athens slavery was seen as a natural practice by the citizens. While today such a view would be seen as radical and extreme by most.

Or note how the same politician can simataneously be a moderate to one person and a radical to the next.

Anyways this notion of "the center" is vague. Why are you so confident that everyone under that label is definitionally above reproach?
