Shenhe? You mean the character everyone's going nuts over because "aww she smiled at lantern rite because she wishes it could last forever so you could be with you"? The fish out of water who only has the traveller to help her?
In a random dialogue from an event that's about to end, I don't think it should be as big of a deal as you make it out to be. She wasn't even really a big part of the event like Keqing is, so I don't see how this affects her that badly.
Seriously I don't understand this and I would really like to. You're telling me that just because of some lines from an event, an event mind you that when it ends all this dialogue and other dialogue from the character cameos of Lantern Rite will be gone, suddenly she's shallow? Small, insignificant pieces of dialogue about having some fondness for the traveler, which again is going to be gone soon, has affected her personality that much?
Having a backstory does not make you immune to becoming the shallow 2d waifu
Funny, a lot of people were worried about that, but for most people it ended up being the opposite, and they were pleasantly surprised. Just because she shows some fondness for the traveler doesn't mean her character is suddenly like Ayaka's or something.
Also controversial statement, but honkai isn't as well written as everyone makes it out to be. It's very, uh, male audience orientated.
What does that mean? Can you elaborate? Especially on that male audience orientated part.
