i get your point but enkanomiya and the chasm underground have relevance beyond being places players explore once.

both places contain world bosses (shenhe and yae miko in enkanomiya; kuki shinobu, yelan, and heizou in the chasm underground) and repeatable farmable content (vishaps, some exclusive fish, and ruin enemies in enkanomiya; ore and serpent knights in the chasm).

if they add a world boss or other exclusive material to gaa to make the area more “repeatable” then it might be worth it for them to make it permanent but gaa is still fundamentally different from enkanomiya and the chasm underground despite the fact they’re all small regions on a separate map layer.
